Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of InvoiceHaven, operated by Jack Masih ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. The service
InvoiceHaven is a document-to-data tool. You upload invoices and other documents, and we use optical character recognition and automated extraction to produce structured data that you can review and export. InvoiceHaven is not accounting, bookkeeping, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional review of your records.
2. Account registration
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You must be of legal age to enter into a contract, and if you register on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- One person or organisation may not use another account holder's credentials to circumvent plan limits.
3. Free plan and paid subscriptions
- New accounts receive a one-off free allowance of pages so you can trial the service. The free allowance is granted once per account and does not renew.
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed either monthly or annually in advance, at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Each paid plan includes a stated number of pages per month.
- Annual subscriptions receive their stated monthly page allowance each month during the annual term — the allowance refreshes monthly, not as a single yearly lump sum.
- Unused pages do not roll over. Any remaining allowance is reset at the start of each monthly window.
- There is no overage billing. We will never charge you automatically for pages beyond your plan.
- If you exhaust your allowance before the next monthly reset, you may upgrade to a higher plan to continue processing, or wait until your allowance refreshes.
4. Plan changes, cancellation and failed payments
- Upgrades take effect immediately. Your new allowance applies straight away and the payment provider applies a prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing period.
- Downgrades are scheduled and take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan and allowance until then.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date, after which the account reverts to the free tier with no further allowance.
- You may resume a scheduled cancellation or clear a scheduled downgrade before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, your subscription enters a past due state. We will show a warning in the app while the payment provider retries. If payment is not resolved, the subscription may be cancelled and your plan will revert to the free tier.
5. Payments and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund position is set out in our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to process documents you have no right to process.
- Upload malware, attempt to probe, scan or breach our security, or interfere with the service or other users.
- Scrape, resell, redistribute or provide the service to third parties except as your own business use of your account.
- Reverse engineer the service or attempt to circumvent technical limits, page allowances or billing controls.
- Use the service to process content that is illegal or that infringes another party's rights.
7. Your documents and your responsibility
You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, transmit and process that content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload each document and to have it processed, including where documents contain personal information about third parties.
If you believe content processed through the service infringes your rights, contact us at info@invoicehaven.com and we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove content and restrict or terminate repeat infringing accounts.
8. Accuracy of automated extraction
Extraction is automated and probabilistic. Recognised text, field values, dates, tax amounts and totals may be incomplete or incorrect, particularly for poor-quality scans or unusual layouts. Validation checks and confidence indicators are aids only. You must review extracted data before relying on it, and you remain solely responsible for the accuracy of any records, filings or decisions you base on it. We make no representation that outputs meet any particular accounting, tax or regulatory requirement.
9. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the service, including its software, interfaces, documentation and branding. Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Nothing in these terms transfers our intellectual property to you.
10. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service depends on third-party infrastructure and processing providers, and may be unavailable during maintenance, outages or events beyond our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious misuse. Where practical we will give notice first. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. On termination your access ends and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy; export your data before you delete your account.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where you use the service for business purposes, consumer guarantees that may otherwise apply are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you upload, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
14. Changes to the service and pricing
We may change, add or remove features over time. We may also change plan pricing or allowances; changes to the price of an existing subscription take effect from your next billing period after we notify you, and you may cancel before the change applies if you do not accept it. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
15. General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.
